Claire chatted to Masoumeh (Iran) Mansouri from the College of Birmingham about culturally delicate robots and planning in complicated environments.

Masoumeh Mansouri is an Affiliate Professor within the College of Laptop Science on the College of Birmingham. Her analysis consists of two complementary areas: (i) creating hybrid robotic planning strategies for unstructured environments shared with people, and (ii) exploring subjects on the intersection of cultural theories and robotics. Within the latter, her major objective is to review whether or not/how robots may be culturally delicate given the broad definitions of tradition in several fields of research.
